Signature Healthcare Foundation presents $30,000 to four St. Louis organizations.

Signature Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the presentation of $7,500 to Christian Activity Center, $7,500 to Deaconess Nurse Ministries, $7,500 to Helping Hand Me Downs & $7,500 to Nurses for Newborns. The $30,000 in support was made possible through the Foundation’s annual Golf Tournament.
David Anderson, M.D., President of Signature Healthcare Foundation indicated that “The Foundation is pleased to be able to support the efforts of these St. Louis area non-for-profits who work to improve the health of the St. Louis community. Non-profits interested in being considered for support through the Foundation’s 2018 Golf Tournament should complete the application form at www.signaturefoundation.org by November 15, 2017.”

Christian Activity Center, an after-school program in East St. Louis, exists to serve children ages 5-18 in faith, academics, and recreation in hopes to prepare them for successful futures”
Deaconess Nurse Ministry provides mental, physical and spiritual health – related services, education and advocacy to churches, community centers, senior citizen homes and food pantries in an effort to create communities of wholistic wellness.
Helping Hand Me Downs enhances the quality of life for children and families in the St. Louis area by meeting their immediate needs, then connecting then with life-changing resources that foster independence
Nurses for Newborns provides a safety net for families most at-risk in order to prevent infant mortality, child abuse and neglect by providing in-home nursing visits which promote healthcare, education and positive parenting skills.
