Committees

Committees Open to the Public:

The following Committees have membership from the broad community as well as the Board of Directors. Contact Executive Director Beth Schlueter at bschlueter@signaturefoundation.org to indicate an interest in joining one of these Committees.

Health Policy Forum

This Committee plans the agenda and selects the speakers and panelists for the annual Health Policy Forum. The Committee typically meets two to three times a year between January – May with meeting held in the evenings and additional work and input conducted through email correspondence.

Dragon Boat Festival

This Committee plans details for the annual Dragon Boat Festival, including overseeing marketing efforts to recruit sponsors and participants, selection of advertising venues, determination of KidsZone activities, coordination of volunteers and more. The Committee typically meets three to five times a year between December and June with meeting held in the late afternoon.

Management Internship Committee

This Committee provides oversight to the Foundation’s management internship program, as well as working to broaden the placement sites available to interns and assisting with intern recruitment. It meets as needed typically once or twice per year. The Committee also provides suggestions for program descriptive information to be included on the Foundation website.

Toolkit for Patients/Transparency Initiative

This Committee is proposed to oversee the Toolkit for Patients project, including reviewing written and electronic materials, developing sites for placement of materials and presentations and ensuring the project addresses the dual goals of changing behavior of patients to ask about cost and quality related information for healthcare tests and procedures and changing behavior of physicians to included cost and quality information in their conversations with patients.

St. Louis Golf Tournament

This Committee plans the format and details for the annual Golf Tournament, as well as assisting in recruiting sponsors and participants. The Committee typically meets once or twice in the September – December time period with meetings in the evening.

Top Golf Classic

This Committee plans the details and recruits sponsors and participants for the annual Top Golf Classic, held in Kansas City. it typically holds one or two evening meetings during the year and conducts additional business via email.
