The mission of the Foundation is to utilize physician leadership
to improve the quality, efficiency and affordability of health
care in the St. Louis area and nationally. Through the work
of the Foundation, it is hoped that more effective business
practices and increased physician leadership will ultimately
result in increased quality and cost savings which can translate
into increased medical care for individuals.
Community Dialogue
While the foundation’s vision incorporates national
impact, service emphasis is in the St. Louis metropolitan
area. Signature Health Systems, Inc., the founding organization,
is a 33 member physician practice specializing in orthopedics.
Through six convenient offices throughout the St. Louis
metropolitan area, more than 140,000 office visits are provided
each year.
